What is BauBuche?

BauBuche is a laminated veneer lumber made from beech. Peeled veneer layers of 3mm in thickness are parallel- or cross-laminated and turned into beams, boards, panels and flooring elements.

How BauBuche differ to beech timber?

Can it be varnished or painted?

All varnish and paints that are suitable for solid wood can be used for BauBuche products. Sanded surfaces are perfect for staining, waxing, oiling or painting.


It’s a kind of wooden panel you’ve never seen before. 100% beech BauBuche panels are different from others with its function and visual.

Thanks to exceptional strength of BauBuche, the same construction/structure can be done with significantly slimmer dimensions compared to softwood materials. The high surface quality makes BauBuche ideally suitable for visible construction elements. Panels can be used as table-tops, kitchen worktops, stairs, wood flooring, wall and ceiling cladding and many more.

** The strength of BauBuche is not affected as a result of brief exposure to the elements during assembly. BauBuche will, however, swell and stains may form. If brief exposure to the elements cannot be ruled out during transport and assembly, we recommend the use of a protective varnish
